SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT

I made this jacket for a sustainability project in 2nd year. I researched and gathered statistics about the amount of tents that get left behind at festivals every year. Irish people are particularly bad at leaving rubbish behind them at festivals which all ends up in landfills, so I decided to repurpose an old broken tent into a functional and waterproof jacket. The entire jacket is made from the tent, including zips and ties. The clear parts at the arms were once the windows on the tent.
